Anfi Group will be a new co-sponsor for Saxo Bank Sunguard after the 2012 Vuelta according to Danish newspaper Ekstrabladet.

The amount of money is not known, but it will be an increase of the budget. The Anfi Group CEO is cited for saying that he imagines that the new name will be Saxo Bank - Anfi.

Anfi Group is a Spanish/Norwegian timeshare company.

Looks as if the future for Saxo Bank is bright. They might even have enough money for new riders to secure the place on the World Tour regardless of the outcome of the Contador doping case.

As a Dane, I am happy.

EDIT: The news has not yet been confirmed by Saxo Bank cycling team, but CEO Trey Greenwood is not ruling out that Anfi will get their name on the jerseys.

Good news indeed. Guess thats furtehr proof that COntador will resign with the team too.

Still, we need Saxo Bank to prolong its sponsorship which runs out by the end of the year.
