Why would you say that?rickshaw said:I think this qualifies as:

Yes, a Road ID isn't essential.
But imagine you're out on your bike and crash. You could be unconscious - then people that will come to help will at least know who to notify if that's necessary.
Even if you're conscious, you might be in too much pain to want to tell your personal details to some stranger.
I know right and Liz Hatch looks like Trannylancaster said:what struck me is how unhealthy levi and bobke look. particularly in comparison to the aussie.

You said it..it's a dog tag. Go to the pet store and buy yourself one for 5 eurosAstana1 said:I think it's a brilliant idea. It's also cheap as hell. It's like a dog tag for athletes who ride and run on the roads. I keep kicking myself for not ordering a couple.

That wasn't the kind of dog tag I had in mind but whatever. I like a the wristband because it's pretty obvious and easy to locate unless my arm was amputated in an accident. I don't want dog tags around my neck because it would be harder to locate on my unconcious carcass.
I have a friend who has one. It has his wife's cell number, his full name, insurance provider etc.. to him it's just about giving himself every possible advantage. For 15 bucks or whatever it costs it's a total bargain.
I'm not a user (seems like a wallet in my jersey pocket is enough) but I do see them pretty frequently in SoCal. Just focus in on the older century rider types.Boeing said:I put in some decent miles in and around SoCal and I can say that I have never seen anyone with one. not even the Freds
