Question
did cyclingnews /the world center of cycling! have ANYONE at the noosa crit?
no live feed or stream or ticker /no photos /top ten finishers only /no description of racing !
as the brisbane crit is no more /as surfers crit is no more /
as over 10,000 punters rocked up to watch it
wouldnt it be nice if they could get some coverage of the only pro level event in qld this season ?mmmm mcewens last hurrah ,not newsworthy ?baden /cantwell /hayman /hausler /even t bayliss would be worth a look /not !
and then steve rooney goes top ten over current pro tour riders phwaar !
DISAPPOINTING >DISAPPOINTING >DISAPPOINTING

I can't believe they missed this historic monument of a race. With its epic racing, demanding parcours and incredible start list it is truly the pinnacle of one day races!

Oh and McEwen is not even retiring.

If we had a live stream/ticker/feed/reportage/photos of every crit with a half-decent turnout, the site's space requirements would go through the roof, as would the required salaries.

I know it's the off-season, which frees up a bunch of resources. But imagine they did that for every kermesse, every American crit, every .NE-rated race... it'd quickly become unreadable.

Dunno about Noosa, but it was possible to follow the Melbourne-Warrnambool (weaker field, much better race) on Twitter this year, thanks mainly to the guys from Genesys.

Yes it was great to feel as though you were going along for the ride - I could even tolerate a little bias in the call (then again Genesys were pretty dominant!)

Yep that was brilliant. Did anyone flick on the internet radio to hear the call by 3YB? It was a bit like a local horse race call but at least it was by two people who knew the event and its history backwards.

(oh and a special mention to the Genesys tweeter for the tweet about Shaw having a "power-spew". That was gold)

The Noosa Crits WILL at some point be shown on OZ TV, albeit sometime after the event. They are part of the annual Noosa Multi-Sports Festival which eventually crops up in a 3 hour summary on one of the channels (I think TEN).

Don't be ridiculous, a bunch of semi retired, semi important pro's (a whole dozen of them) mixed up with weekend warriors half of whom couldn't even stay in the bunch is a race you want to follow on a live feed?
