Does anyone know the number of riders who have been sanctioned for doping offenses in 2009?

A comparison to other years would be interesting, as well.

63 (i think) need to confirm with the UCI

no outrage!
real question should be -Is the increase due to the the passport ID-ing the cheats?
90% rise in the riders thinking doping is an option?

or just a broken system.

something is not working. IDEAS ON THE FIX?

Probably about the same as any other year.

Easy fix, just allow drugs and let guys go nuts.

This is similar to my theory. Everyone at the pro level knows what there max tolerance of a performance drug would be. Shoot all of them up to the max, and when guys start to fall over dead we'll know that they tried to do that little bit extra.
