A break to go and will consist of Thomas Vockler and at least one guy from Euskatel Euskadi and we can throw in a few blokes from Cofidis, FDJ, and Skil. Will get all of 30 seconds before getting chased down by Columbia before Cav rides everybody off his wheel to take stage win number 6.

I would say a break on the Champs-Élysées is probably the most pointless off all breakaway attempts in the Tour.

We're all watching who is talking to whom as they freewheel to Paris.;)

Does LA's long talk with Thor mean that he's trying to get him to come to Radioshack too? Just wondering.....LA has (apparently) asked the Brothers to join him, though they would be mad to do so.....AC and Schleklet were having a long talk too - could anyone hear what language they were speaking together?

I don't think there is room for a sprinter in RadioShack, so that wouldn't be a good move for anyone. Also, Hushovd signed a new contract with Cervelo before the Tour.

Millar's wearing a skin suit - to protect him from the sun, or has someone not done the washing?

Just realised - Wiggins is in the skin suit too! Garmin washing still at the laundromat

I just came on here to post a comment asking if anyone else had noticed that Millar and Wiggins were both wearing skinsuits, and you have too. I wonder, is it as you say that the team forgot to wash the kit last night, or are they planning to try and attack with a couple of laps of the Champs left to go and try and team time trial Wiggins onto the podium?! Could it be, or have I drunk to much coffee?

They ride the skinsuits by choice. I've seen them do that on other stages as well as other races in the year. Why? . . . who knows.

It would certainly liven up the traditional Stage 21 if they did - has anyone spotted what Zabriskie is wearing? VDV is in knicks and jersey ... but maybe he isn't needed in the attack, but will act as defender ... :) I'd like to see it happen!

That was on my mind as well, rolfrae. Looking forward to the last laps.

Wouldn't that just **** off Cav too! I guess Wiggins and Millar would have to do some two-up time trial to hold off Columbia, Astana and any other team that thought they'd a chance of winning the sprint.

Maybe because of Millar's aversion to the sun - the skinsuits cover a bit more skin. Wiggins is pretty fair too.

Yeah but they do, but to wear them on the stage of the Tour that's supposed to be an easy jaunt into Paris is either suspicious or bad housekeeping. :)

Let's hope they're going to go all out to get Tyler Farrar over the line b4 Cav!

Most of it seemed to end up on the tarmac!

heh. Yep, once the photo ops were finished away went the champagne.

I didn't realize that Lance won the Tour this year. At least that's how it seems listening to P&P. It took 3 weeks, but I think I've finally reached total Lance overload to the point of annoyance.

I love that Tyler's hair nearly matches the orange in his kit. Really excited about the showdown on the Champs.

Can't believe that lance Armstrong is on this bike today. Pic here. I find it so ugly.

I believe he also rode it yesterday and I agree about the ugliness, BUT...this is meant to be a 'work of art'.

The bike was painted by Damien Hirst, a well known and respected artist, and will be sold at auction after the Tour with the proceeds going to the fight against cancer. I have no idea if the proceeds are intended to go to Livestrong or elsewhere, but it is expected (according to the report I saw on Dutch tv) that the bike will realize in the region of $1m.

I mentioned earlier that LA was having a long talk with Thor too. Are we to speculate that every rider he talks to is someone he wants to see at Radioshack?

lance talking to andy. Don't do it Andy just say no

Lance spent quite some time chatting up Sastre, too. I would love to know what some of these conversations are like. "Hey Lance, what's Matthew McConaughey really like? Any chance I can hang with you guys in Malibu some time?" ;)
