Thought it was worth a mention that one of the big hitters for the spring classics - Stuart O'Grady sustained injuries including broken collar bone and rib from a crash in Milan -San Remo and is out for a few weeks.

I know he was setting himself for another win of Paris -Roubaix and will be greatly dissapointed.

He certainly has had his fair share of crashes and hope he makes it back for the rest of the season.

******! I will have to re-assign the bet I have with my cycling group as to who will win. Cancellara would normally be a good bet though he seems to be slightly off form. Cav for PR perhaps? ;)

He would have been a factor in the key races, as he always is, if not winning, then setting up the team, very sad news.
At his age this is a real blow, he will be around a little longer, but win he have another winning chance...?
