Hi, Has anyone tried using a KMC 10 speed SL chain on Campagnolo Record 10 speed chainrings, mechs & cassette combination? If so, please let me know if it is compatible and if it runs smoothly. Also, is it ok to use a standard chain-link extractor tool to push the pin out for a Campagnolo Record 10-speed chain or does the chain need a special extractor tool? Thanks.

Bustednoodle told me no problemo and I listened him, although I used it with Chorus combo and works fine.
Tool dunno.

Yes, sold many, works great. Use a normal chain tool to take the pin out, remove the link.

Would KMC link works with Shimano 10spd chain, I am thinking of removing pin and link and use KMC link instead? I am lazy to figure it out myself.
Thanks!

I would give it a go, and carry a spare link just in case ;)

Another possible option

Some years ago when 10 speed was first coming into age, a company named IRD (Interloc Racing) made a Campy compatible chain link that allowed easy chain installation and removal. The "Snap-Link II". You used this link instead of the hassle of making a permanent pin placement.... you may remember the (IMO) stupid vise grip like pliers needed to install the pin... I have this tool around somewhere...never found another use for it.... cost $$$$ too.
But, using the Snap-Link II was a no brainer...no more fear of the chain coming apart.
I do not know if IRD still exists.

HOWEVER, when KMC introduced their Campy compatible 10 speed chain, I switched over to their chain and have NEVER looked back. Excellent chains:
low noise, long wear, excellent shifting, less costly...I have nothing bad to say about this chain.
