Very hard to search for a name on here without knowing it and only using lance and cancer. I know there were others.

I don't know the full extent of their illnesses, but some names to get you started. Greg Strock, http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2001/04/10/60II/main284958.shtml Corroborates wonderboy's time in development with Carmichael and Wenzel. Yet another indicator that was completely ignored. Erich Kaiter too.

Joe Papp hangs around here. Based on some comments he's made in The Clinic he's dealing with some unusual health complications.

If you can find a list of who was on the U.S. Junior teams over the years, I bet the ones that got Euro contracts in particular might have some interesting things to say under the right conditions. It would be very interesting to assess their medical condition and see if there's anything different in that group.

me. 2x testicular cancer. hrt since 1993. but i doubt i can be called cyclist :D.
btw. i suppose Armstrong is on permanent hrt with testosterone. it's quite normal and nothing unusal in our case. but there is huge difference. he lot only one ball. benefits taking testosterone? better regeneration, better strenght and power output and man can avoid some desintegration of the muscles. it is another very important issue - you (me exactly) have more or less the same level of testosterone. of course it's better to have high level at the end of the race than be at the bottom of the line like every health man. it is some kind of advantage.
I have no contact with epo-like substances and if lance used it beyond his cancer therapy... What can i tell. Cheater?

i recall several athlete featured in different reports but you asked specifically about a pro bike rider, with a testicular cancer, right ?

of the recent riders, sébastien joly would be the only one fitting the question, he still rides for smoe smaller pro team…also, iirc, dave walsh in his first book about armstrong doping talked at length about another french rider with the testicular cancer..can’t recall his name atm.

Matt Wilson had Hodgkins Lymphoma. No miraculous body transformation into a cycling android, but he's still cycling for Garmin - Cervelo

There was a GB trackie in the 90s called Neil Campbell. Campbell was flown home from the Olympic training camp in Australia for urgent medical tests because the presence of HCG, not normally detectable in healthy males, can suggest the presence of malignant disease - most commonly testicular cancer.
I don't know whether or not the diagnosis of cancer was confirmed or he doped with HCG.

Ernie Lechuga had testicular cancer about 7 years ago and recovered.
