While i rate Evenepoel and van Aert higher, calling Campenaert, Lampaert and De Gendt the B team seems a bit harsh, lol.

1.06 to Higuita, 1.10 to Teuns and 1.11 to Benoot - is not enough IMO, on a proper mountain stage.

If I was the Bora DS, I'd try to find more time tomorrow and Friday, because Saturday the real climbers are dropping the hammer.

But on the other hand, even if they didn't, he'd still be 2nd at best now, and if the mountain stages are raced, he is likely to drop out of contention anyway.

If he has improved since last year, yes.
Otherwise, I still think he won't win. He lost a lot of time in harder stages in every one week race last year.

Well he almost won Algarve last year and his first strong performance as professional was the vuelta stage to Angliru. Strong uphill when motivated yeah but he should be that now.
