UAE had no one in top 40, so they will remain among the first to start tomorrow, with a higher risk of wet roads. Same for Visma, I think, although they were a bit better placed.

Vingegaard doesn't know his PN history regarding small time gaps deciding the overall victory, but he probably hasn't studied this year's route closely either.

Vingegaard should've sprinted for victory today. His explosivity gained last year should be enough.

Yes the top-10 looks bad but you have the likes of Ackerman and Ghermay completely failing to perform. Ackerman is really bad.
Should've kicked his chain off on purpose like yesterday, a waste of money, they will be kicking themselves that their best rider Matthews is injured, he would've got second here, looking fastest but mistiming the come-around, with a hand on his head as if to wonder what may have been.

Not quite the A-list....
Congrats to Kanter
What's even stranger is some A-listers like Milan, Magnier, Lund, De Lie etc. might end up with a single bunch sprint to contest in Tirreno.

My lip reading is a little ***, but does Kanter scream "WTF" after he wins?

Nice win for him!

Edit: lol, I forgot that one can't say another word for crap on here, or is that new?

Have watched a bit of these stages. Fallen asleep to both of them.

But I will say this.

Ayuso will get revenge this year, and he will start by winning this gentlemens bicycle race.

Trek is my team this year.

Saw the results. Came in here to make jokes about what an atrocious sprint field this is but I see my fellow forum comrades have already done their duty!

(for the record, I had prepared "This sprint field makes the Vuelta look like Scheldeprijs")

Trek is my team this year. Even though they ride MAGA bikes
@80+% of all bicycles in the peloton are made by Merida and Giant. Trek bikes are made by Giant and primarily in Taiwan.
