You think US media were being bad for putting the US on the top of the medal ranking, even when they didn't have the most golds?
TV2 is being absolutely ridiculous!

Danmark1203
USA24313186
Kina22221660
The US media may have taken liberties with the scoring method of the IOC, but the Danish media appear to be taking liberties with basic arithmetic!!!

Fun fact. Hitler congratulated Jesse Owens and shook his hand in private, while the US president Roosevelt completely ignored him. Owens said he was treated better in the Third Reich than in the US
Fun fact Jesse Owens did extensive charity work in the greater Phoenix area in his later years. Hundreds of public school events taking to young people about physical fitness and he did work w Shriners and Shriners hospital and did public service announcements for the Arizona Humane Society. Was a fixture in the valley until his death.

200 metres tomorrow will be a contest of the best guys from the 100's: Lyles, Bednarek and Letsile Tebogo. Can't see anyone else challenging tbh

Yeah, Tortu remains an enigma to me. How can you have a world class top speed in the relay with a flying start and not deliver in the 200m race. Nowadays he's even loosing positions on the finishing straight. The guy ran sub 10 sec 100m at the age of 20, but besides the relay he doesn't deliver. World class top speed, but a slow start and frankly bad cornering in the 200m. He also insists on getting coached by his own father...
Move him to a top training group at a young age and his career takes a different path.

At least you beat Denmark today. Always the same with the Italians...

After some poor showings by the Jamaicans in the women's 400m, they get an OR in the men's discus.

Klaver fell asleep
Klaver is a 300m specialist. She relies so heavily on a fast start that when she can't get that since she was on a yellow card, she has nothing. Oh well, at least it means she won't get prevented from starting the relay since the Dutch sure as hell need her there...
