Pat McQuaid or Jan Ullrich?

If you were driving along in the pouring rain and you passed both Pat McQuaid & Jan Ullrich standing on the side of the road thumb out looking for a lift, who would you stop to pick up?

I'd stop for Jan.

Sure he screwed up but he was young and a product of a system that was questionable at the best of times but at least he has done something in Cycling.

As for the other bloke he just gives me the creeps! What I mean to say is he really the best we've got to manage our sport? Surely we can do better.

Pouring rain and they would be dependent on me for help? I'd give them both a lift...Ullrich because I could probably get a few good stories out of him. McQuaid because he'd be forced to listen to me go on and on.

I'd knock McQuaid down, get out of the car, steal all his booze plus whatever bribe money he has on him, go pick up Ullrich, then head to the nearest night club.

I'd make McQuaid sit on the seat and then put Jan on his lap. Having both in the car would allow me to finally ask both my questions or interrogate who ever does not want to talk. Leaving them on the side of the road when they were there so close would be the real loss. I'm not saying either one would ever leave the car but I think Jan might just have a chance
