Pauline Ferrand-Prevot, if she could go for a ride with anyone it would be Lance...

"I liked him when I was younger. Whatever he has done in the past, he will always be the best cyclist in the world,"

Not bright

does the interview continue with "if I was to train with someone, it would be Dr. Lamborghini of Lamborgia"... and favourite drink: orange juice?

I bet Phinney would say the same, if he could

I bet he wouldn't.

Phinney explains decision to sign with BMC Racing Team

Reveals strained relationship with Lance Armstrong

Despite his excitement for the future, Phinney is sad to be leaving behind the relationships he made at Trek-Livestrong over the last two years, including his friendship with Armstrong, who Phinney revealed, had broken off all communication ever since Ochowicz made his first offer.

In 1999 Pauline turned 7
In 2005 she was just 13 y.o.

Do you remember how bright you were at that age (be it 7 or 13)?
Yet, look where you are now :D

So PFP still thinks like a person aged 7 - 13? hmmm not believable.

I am here now calling Armstrong a doper who cheated with the help of the lab in Lausanne and the Presidents of the International Federation to name a few. I think i am doing a lot better than PFP.

The fact that she was just a child when he finished up first time around may mean that she either feels disconnected from that era of cycling because she's so far removed from it, and so Lance had a big effect on her early cycling interest and she still harbours some residual admiration for him because of that.

It doesn't stop it being a monumentally stupid thing for her to say, especially from a PR point of view, of course.

I tried without success to find out what she actually had said, in French.

I have to agree with you and Benotti69 that her second sentence is stupid.
However, she is cuter than both of you together and of course than Benotti's ugly avatar :D

If I ever (cyclo-)cross her way I'll be sure to bring up that (supposed) statement of her's.
