I know I'm looking ahead a bit, but could someone tell me what Sagan's prep will look like for Bergen? I see Eneco and the Canadian classics but that's not too much in terms of racing. Am I missing something?

Last year he did the same and worlds are couple weeks earlier this year as well

In an interview some days ago he said he hadn't decided yet but after that i didn't see any news.
Based on yesterday´s performance? 2nd best of late starters that had worse conditions than early starters. Or his climbing in Pologne where he was helping Majka? He has never been great at either but he´s certainly not worse than before.Kokoso said:Peter got noticeable worse at time trialing and mountains, at least this year. No longer as good in short time trials as he used to be.
Not only yesterday's performance, but too. I haven't noticed anything special at TdP, so I disagree on this.Screecher said:Based on yesterday´s performance? 2nd best of late starters that had worse conditions than early starters. Netserk said:So Sagan is on his way to win #100 4 months younger than Cav was when he got his. Wonder how far back we'll have to go to find a younger rider to win 100 times.

Kwiatko comes next. He's versatile but not equally consistent. Sagan / Valverde win all over the season(s), Kwiatko has off-periods.
Yep. That is pretty much the other side of his respectable sprint top speed. Cannot have it all.Valv.Piti said:For versatility:
Valverde
Kwiatko
Sagan
Dumoulin/Moscon/GvA etc.
Kwitko and Valv beats Sagan in that department, Sagan doesn't really have a great sustained power output for mountains and time trials compared to those two who. Maybe even put Kwitko ahead of Valv, guy is just a monster.
Depends what you value more.Valv.Piti said:For versatility:

Felline also deserves a mention, when he's on he's great on all kinds of terrain.Valv.Piti said:For versatility:

Considering Valverde is just so good at everything between 5 sec to 1 hours efforts, especially if you look at w/kg, I definitely do not think he is. As I said, Sagan lacks the ability to sustian the same amount of watts for a longer period of time which is a huge deal. Climbs and time trials very mediocre considering his talent.Netserk said:Sagan is more versatile than Piti. I'll give Kawasaki the nod as most versatile though.
