While reading the little blurb on a rider I was not familiar with, I noticed this line.
"Caucchioli had requested the hearing to be open to the public and media but the Italian Olympic Committee refused his request."
I find it odd that the open hearing was refused. Wouldn't it be good for the public to know what details might come out. CONI could spin anything the rider said that they didn't like. Call me naive but I hoestly don't see what the harm would be.
