My wife and I are moving to Baltimore in June and we are trying to figure out where to live. Right now we are looking at living a suburb and I would love to be able to commute by bike to work (at Johns Hopkins hospital). We are not sure if any of the burbs lend themselves more or less to commuting, or if this is an unrealistic goal with the city (e.g. unsafe, better public transportation options, etc...). If anyone has any experience bike commuting in Baltimore and has an opinion, I would love to hear about it.
