two observations from the prologue (sorry have been on vacation and away from my mac)

1: what did lance have up the right leg of his racing knicks ??? its too high up to be a power gel.

2: mechanical doping - cadel evans - used a saddle with a built in bottle holder and also carried a decidedly non aero bottle on his frame, for an event lasting only 10 minutes !!! is that where you power the motor from ????.

on some of these TTbikes the bottle and cage structure acts as almost a faring... it's shape placement etc is part of the aero design, so the bike is probably faster with the bottles and cages than without... they were probably empty
