Pop up add making site un-useable

Every link, outside of the forums, I click this morning is giving me full page bmw add that has to be closed.

Yes me too.

I stood up for Daniel in a previous thread which had someone complaining about a pop-up appearing on the home page. That one could be tolerated as it only appeared once and then when you continue to search through the main page and click on links it didn't appear again - it was also consistent with other news sites around the place.

But this one for the forums everytime you go across to scroll down the page it seems a new pop up ad appears for every new page you open. Unacceptable

I have constant problems with the full page ads for TKMaxx, 3 and Legoland (I'm in the UK) popping up and obliterating the page content. They're supposed to sit at the sides, presumably in the hope the punter accidentally clicks them, but at the moment they're totally getting in the way. I have some screenshots but there doesn't seem to be a way to post them without an URL.

I also have no problems with Adblock and Mozilla Firefox. And I mean ZERO ad's. Highly recommend Adblock....

the wifes computer had pop up madness. Had to take it in and it was still hard for a pro to get the adware off. Normal security software that could not identify the multiple adware programs installed. this site has never show these problems on my computer which looks to be safe today

That swingin ball ad is EXTREMELY ANNOYING - please get rid of it.

Never used to suffer this constant pop ups before - only on Cycling News no other sites do this !

Look at a couple of the posts above....there are some ways to get rid of the pop ups.

i also recommend using adblock. if the admin (or management) can't "do ads" properly then they will have ZERO ads on my screen.

Can't find at the moment the real adds on the forum thread, but wanted to show what kind I see. I wouldn't complain if it wasn't because I'm sure it normally wouldn't be tolerated if users here posted such images. I just hope users here are allowed the same freedom as the adds.
