RAI captions in English

There was a post the other day from an english speaker living in Italy who said Italians have an inferiority complex and that's why the Giro organizers are pandering to LA. I'm starting to think he had a point. I'm noticing that the on-screen captions from RAI are in english. C'mon guys, you have a beautiful culture and language, this pandering to LA fans is pathetic. Have some self-respect. I'm sorry if I come off as a troll, but I just had to get that off my chest.

No inferiority complex - especially not in cycling...

They are in Italian in Italy. Maybe their international feed is in English?

I just know that I watched RAI International last year and everything was in Italian. I hope you're right though, I love Italian culture. BTW, last year I noticed something else on RAI. Here in Canada, when there's a break in the action at a sporting event the cameras will often get a shot of a beautiful woman in the stadium. On RAI it's babies, with the commentators ahhing and cooing "ahhh bella bambino". I think thats great!

I'll go for the beautiful women. At least cycling still has podium girls. In boxing it is now pretty much impossible to get any TV footage of the ring babes between rounds.

I feel like I gotta defend my manhood here. I love the ladies. Really. No, really!
