How would you rate this years race?

Definitely a 10! It was a great race indeed. I was very happy to see Fabian win. I was on the edge of my seat during the last Kilometer. I honestly didn't think Fabian would be able to pull it off....the only thing I was sure of was GVA getting second. :D I personally enjoyed this victory a lot more than last years. I'd like to see him get a 3rd set of Flanders/Roubaix wins.

OPQS were the biggest losers in my opinion. They had a lot more options than other teams and still came up short. I'm sure they're disappointed. Great race.

Voted 9.9 so I mean that it's an 9. Just next time stick to the normal 1 to 10, because this poll can't be taken serious as people that want to give it a lower rating than a 9 will probably give it a 9.

While im sure you meant it as a joke and we should see the 9.6 as an 6. Reality will probably be that its a messed up poll.

Not that its very important though :)

Well to me the joke was worth what you called messing up the poll. I expected most of the forum to get the point and vote properly. Thought it was obvious enough.:)

Of course I wanted to indicate that the race was great.

cance's ride was a 10 for sure.

the course is better than last year but still not as good as before.

some rain would have been awesome.

opqs getting the wrong guy following gva was a big fail. i would have loved to see terpstra duking it out in the finale.

jvs possibly nearly killing someone is not my favorite thing to see. hope she rallies.

reaction shots in the team cars, ftw!

(poll joke was funny)

With 20/20 hindsight, could OPQS have won that? I think the strongest 4 in the race were the podium plus Kristoff. It's really tough to win when your strongest is only 5th strongest...and I'm not even sure they had the 5th strongest guy in the race.

Voted 9,8 because I think it deserved a 9,8. Fabian rode to perfection. Even isolated he timed it all perfectly. The attack on the Kwaremont just after Gatto finally caught back on and pulled 20 seconds off the gap to GvA; outfoxing his rivals in the sprint. Awesome.

Happy we'll get to see him for a few more years before Sep takes up the reigns!

great race.
big facepalm for OPQS - all change in no time and all went pear-shaped. could have had something with vandenbergh(sp?) but even fluffed that...

great work by spartacus, but i'd have loved to see GVA get it.

JVS crash was bad, as was popovych. Poor devolder too... couldn't stay out of trouble if he tried!

have to say, SBS telecast was woeful. their ad placements were f***ng brick-at-the-tv stuff!

Strongly agree with the SBS coverage! Pathetic, no excuses considering they are showing it delayed.

Superb ride by Cance, experience and smarts won that for him. GVA was excellent, I'm disappointed that he couldn't get the win though. OPQS should have done much better with the riders they had, hopefully they come out swing at Roubaix. Vanmarcke was very good and Thomas showed some guts hanging in for as long as he did after kissing the tarmac.

Great Poll BTW :D Could only give it 9.8 though - too many crashes to too many good riders and I wanted to see a first time winner :(

I ran SBS stream along with TV after the first ad break, I was watching the stream until the tv coverage anyway. Really annoying to watch the Thomas group just make the catch, then ride up kwaremont, then before we know who is where and how big the gaps are...commercials for 3 minutes.

9.9. Only Kristoff catching the group and losing by a wheel to Cance would have improved it.

A sprinter winning a sprint? Not surprising. I was yelling at the screen: "Don't let Kristoff come back!!!" (Nothing against him personally, he proved that winning MS wasn't a coincidence.)

Not sprinter winning a sprint :D but personal issues. :D Seeing Cance face loosing this after outsmarting eberybody would be wothless for me as it was the face of Sagan loosing to Chiolek last year for the most of you here.
But you are right everything is excatly how it should be. Kristoff catching the group and winning would probably ruin the race. :)

the stream was good til around the 30k mark then for some reason it sh*t itself. Every time I tried to restart it I got 2 bloody ads then a message about it not being available.
as for the ads during the tv broadcast - 8 ads in one go ffs - 'kin atrocious.
In protest I'm definately not watching that mexcian cooking guy's show after it coming up nearly ever second ad.

That was madness. They show that Maxican cooking ad 3 times in one break. There was more time spent on adverts than coverage of the cycling. And like you said, they seemed to go to a break at key moments.

Was a brill race but silly putting score at 9.1 , 9.2 etc.

I would have scored it 9 out of 10 so had to score 9.1 which looks like I thought it was Sh*t.

Dumb poll.

9,1=1
9,2=2
9,3=3
......

You get it?

But still I'm convinced you cannot rate this phantastic race below 9.

Why engage with a poll if you have no interest or doesn't value other opinions on the matter.

You had ten options, so stop complaining. Everythings been said.
