Resin brake pad

Hi everyone

I recently started cycling and am interested in doing my bike's maintenance by myself so I am just a newbie.
Can someone tell me if the resin brake pad in the picture still has some life left?

It looks like a lot of life left (looks almost new), but you can also measure it (you can find the specs on manufacturers www).

Abandon friends/family/hobbies, if you are going
to maintain evil things like fookin disc brakes.

Btw, the pad on the photo is new, not sure if are you trolling here....
