I still laugh at the vision of him being easily passed by an euskatel rider in paris roubaix.

Who knows? Generally riders down the back have to.

When will he learn the further back the dirtier your kit gets....

I figured it would be a poor decision and dismount before fitness. One tends to zone out sucking so much wheel

good call but the lead on CN paints a different Lampre picture today ;)

I am just glad I dont have to hit that wall after being spent off the back. especially with groups behind you. I suppose it is one way to leave an indelible mark on the race and about the only time you don't look pretty in pink

Its the first three or four men at the botom of this section that will interest me more.

They seem like amateurs with an Euskaltel-look-a-like-kit to me.

Just what I though. Pic with guy standing shows a distinctly non-pro build. Especially for a Spanish rider!

Haha, I can just imagine Boonen leading a select group at the bottom before getting off and sprinting up the hill, opening up a small gap, and getting back on his bike at the top.

Correct, 2 amateurs from a team that have an orange/black kit that looks a bit Euskaltel-ish.

Unfortunately the one further down the climb broke his hip when he fell, so he neither walked or rode out, but was carried out.

He better be prepared to do a quick shoe change before he hits it then:D
