Kudos to Team Type 1, after all the bad they have done (I admit I haven't read that thread in detail), for taking on board Michael Creed, fired from Rock Racing.

Letting people go without notice is bad enough, but what surprised me was:

"I was fired without notice and with no follow up," said Creed, who in the mean time had taken on a part-time job with SRM. "I was told to return my helmet, shoes and bike. Even though they never got around to giving me a bike. I can't comment for Cesar and Chris, but this what was offered to me. And of course I didn't entertain the idea."

So, do they wash and give his helmet to other team members? Do they fit his shoes to some other lucky one?

Hehe, when a team is forced to use hand me downs they you know they're in trouble. Maybe that's something they could adopt in Astana.
