Good race, that. Liquigas played the tactics to perfection, and Tony Martin was really impressive. The modifications to the course have really paid off, I think - not much time to recover from the second climb of the Mammolshain before they have to do it again, which allows the gaps that are created to be a bit bigger, and create more chance of them staying away. Coverage was, as usual, excellent, HR deserve a lot of credit for their commitment to it - Köln got the final hour, which was pleasing enough, but to get a race broadcast almost in its entirety (OK, we did get the entirety a couple of years ago) on German TV right now is pretty crazy.
