According to LA, Dumoulin is a menace who's always getting caught up in the early TdF stages' chaos. That, plus the fact that Dumoulin seems to get a lot of classy, gritty smallish-group sprint wins, makes me like him...even though I'm 190cm/85kg and prefer watching solid men like Boonen and Cancellara.

Can't remember the exact stage, but right after one of the opening stages in 2003 or 2004 when there had been a big pile-up, LA was blaming Dumoulin for being responsible for all of the crashes while an instant TV replay was demonstrating that Dumoulin had absolutely nothing to do with the crash. Since then, I've had a little bit of a soft spot for the pocket-sized Frenchman.
