I love the day of E3. It will be the day that I throw out this wretched avatar.

Also a great race.

Shoot.... How is that guy ever going to pay back those points I invested in him :mad::mad:

Hushovd FTW then, I guess.

Boonen needs to get World Tour points for Quick Step in Wevelgem.

I'd put my money on Cance. The insiders and I are saying he's looking really strong.

It's Cancellara's for the taking. If he wants it.

Didn't he say he wanted to go for the triple (E3, Vlaanderen, Roubaix) again? So I guess he wants it.

Problem for Cancellara is that he pretty much has to do everything himself. The last couple of years you had a group of strong guys (Boonen, Flecha, Pozzato etc.) at the front, but if Cancellara will give it all on the Taaienberg, who will be able to follow him? The guys who could aren't here (Boonen, Pozzato, Flecha, Gilbert, Ballan). He probably doesn't want to do a long solo at this stage, I wouldn't be surpised if we have a slightly larger than usual group in the finale, and tactics will play a bigger part.

I certainly prefer it to Sunday's sleepover.
Glad it's now on my tv!

I'm interested, for some reason I've imagined you to be British, if so, how are you able to get these races on your TV. Unless you live on the continent that is. But yeah, a million times more interesting then G-W. I love races like E3, so vastly under-rated, but a good result here will almost certain people noticing you.

If you ignore Cancellara (who was good in Dwars door Vlaanderen, but doesn't look as dominant as last year imo), then I would place my bet on Devolder. He looks in a good shape, is motivated and can take advantage of the absence of a couple of favourites.

Maybe Devolder was napping/dozing/didn't care, but he was mostly off the back on Wednesday when cameras picked him up

True. It was kinda weird as both he and Terpstra looked weak most of the race then all of a sudden decided to attack. And to be honest, Devolder did actually look rather strong when he made his move.

No No No I think you need to earn the right to rid that avatar :p

I didn't think Devolder looked good even when he attacked. It seemed to be based on more sheer will then power.

dunno how he looked last wednesday as I couldn't actually see it, but I'd rather see someone just below the pecking order like O'Grady win it.
same with Devolder.
I'd also be pleased for Garmin to fall over again...

With most of the big names choosing Wevelgem, this could be THE oportunity for Leukemans to finally win something big.
