Problem for Cancellara is that he pretty much has to do everything himself. The last couple of years you had a group of strong guys (Boonen, Flecha, Pozzato etc.) at the front, but if Cancellara will give it all on the Taaienberg, who will be able to follow him? The guys who could aren't here (Boonen, Pozzato, Flecha, Gilbert, Ballan). He probably doesn't want to do a long solo at this stage, I wouldn't be surpised if we have a slightly larger than usual group in the finale, and tactics will play a bigger part.

Top quality post right there. Its what i believe too. Would love to see Canc do one of those out of this world masterclasses in the last km but for the reasons you state + for the fact that he has won this before and that its not a monument while hes got RVV to prepare for, he might decide that its better to just ride this one out.

Nah, I remember the deal! Tomorrow the farce ends. :)

lucky. I remember when you said that if Stannard wins KBK you will keep the avatar for ever and then the commentators said Stannard won :D

Cancellara said he won't use his breaks this E3 Prijs. ---> He won't hold back.

Then he went on to say he also wants to win AGR.

He said that last year as well, and didn't even start the AGR.

Devolder, Hushovd, Hushovd, Roelandts, Boom, Langeveld, Nuyens, ...
It's not like Canc will be the only strong guy in the peloton...

Well, I can see him win AGR. Even Oscar Freire can stay on the front until the finish at the Cauberg. Obviously Cancellara will need to have quite some time on the following group when he starts the Cauberg or otherwise Gilbert will win again(if all the escapees get caught again and it turns out into a Cauberg sprint).

Yeah, that was "hilarious"... :)
I would have probably just left this forum right there if he had won.

seems like major teams have riders in the break. i fear it is going to be a pretty boring race

Peloton seems bored. Break might have a chance.

EDIT: The break's lead is shooting up. Where are Rabo, Vacansoleil, Quick-Step...?

I turned on and the first thing I saw was Spartacus riding alone on empty roads, until he caught the caravan I thought he had already attacked and was 2'40" ahead of the peloton on his own.
