I thought this thread was about jumping the shark. But, this gps tracking gives "off the grid" a whole new meaning!

Lol. He 'evolved' in the span of a couple of hours and developed the ability to walk... Perhaps he found a good recommendation for a braai on yelp...

The not so useful explanation on the website:

Why does it look like the shark traveled over land?
The tracking system simply connects the last ping to the next ping and does not account for the fact the animal being tracked is a shark and clearly does not travel on land.

I guess it has something to do with the time the shark surfaced, which probably affects the accuracy of the GPS locator.

Cindy and Maureen are cruising out in the open. The others are much more beach oriented. I wonder where they are going.
