Shimano 6800/9000 cable issues

The Teflon coated cables maybe would work better as well KCNC or even Powercordz may be worth a go. You wonder how Shimano mess up.
7800 for me was fantastic "solid" that should have been the template to develop from surly?
I don't ride it now but when I did it worked for years "flawless" No major adjustments or issues and smooth shifting.
