Shoe recommendations for high arch and insteps

I'm getting close to replacing my road footwear and have particularly high foot arch and instep resulting in some shoes not having enough volume to be comfortable. Does anybody have any recommendation for shoes which address these particular requirements? Would be grateful for your feedback! Ta.

I have a fair arch and find Bont have a good shape. they are wider than many shoes too. For me they are really great shoes.

I second Sidi Mega.

I would also encourage custom insoles. Its best to work with a foot guy who rides if you have someone in your area. The guy who makes mine does them via email too: http://www.footdynamics.com/store/product/cycling-orthotics-30.cfm The downsides to email order are: you are making the impression (not the expert), and if you need an adjustment you have to mail them back. Sole moldable insoles aren't as good as Foot Dynamics, but they are way better than any of the stock insoles. https://secure.yoursole.com/us/mens/footbeds

The stock insoles are always total crap. Almost like the saddles they throw on bikes. One of the first things I change.

I love my eSoles. Completely fixed my problem with "hot foot".

I always thought numb feet were just part of life when it came to cycling and skiing.
Then somebody at a New Balance store told me my instep was really high. All those years of being crushed were over.

Ended up with Shimano R320 wide with Specialized blue insoles. Perfect.
Also have a pair of Sidi Mega Dominators that are great in the instep but the width isn't as good.
Tried on some Lake CX401's that felt great on the instep. These would be my choice if I had a high instep without needing the extra width. They would be worth the big price tag just for the instep comfort. Have never seen their wides in stock anywhere to try.
Never tried the Bont because they were "you special order it you own it" on the wide models and of course nobody has them in stock to try.
Specialized was willing to ship out some wide sizes to the dealers in the S-works to try on but I never followed through.
