Everyone is wondering why Bradley Wiggins doesn't have a decent leadout man. The fact is that he does. It's Matty Hayman. The question is: What the hell is he doing in Poland, And not on the T.D.F. squad? Anybody got any answers?

They couldn't fit him on the team because of to many priorities is my guess.

At first I read that as "They couldn't fit him on the team because of too many pies is my guess".

If only the reasons were so straight forward.

No special reason, I guess. Sky´s selection was certainly tight, Hayman, Pate or Hunt would surely have been able to play a good role, but they have 110% quality in the team. Opposite to e.g. Lampre or Saxo, who had the problem to send 9 absolutely top riders...

Bradley Wiggins has four lead out men, I think you mean Mark Cavendish. Hayman isn't there because there wasn't room for him and the focus is on yellow for Wiggins.

Maybe road pizza meant sth like "Capitaine de la route"... The most direct protector for Wiggins in the meantime is Knees, not for taking large turns in the first hours (which he surely does equally well), but oftenly for protecting Wiggins before he is in Yellow from the wind - Knees is positioning well, and has the required height, with regard to Wiggins´ 1,90 m.

Ah that makes more sense
