In the light of recent events I was wondering about Lance's place in history. Here are his palmares:
Tour de France-General Classification (1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005) 22 Individual Stages
Critérium du Dauphiné Libéré- General Classification (2002, 2003)
Tour de Suisse- General classification (2001)
Tour de Luxembourg- General classification (1998)
World Cycling Champion (1993)
US National Cycling Champion (1993)
Clásica de San Sebastián (1995)
La Flèche Wallonne (1996)

I voted for "a legend".
You know, all in all, Vlad Țepeș - better known by couple other names, for example, is always remembered as "a legend" as well

Supreme talent at the apex of human evolution and performance. Amazingly handsome and magnanimous god-like character, been known to transfigure and appear in visions of afflicted, poverty-stricken children.

Nice troll thread, too.

Fair enough?

This thread is a farce, there is nothing "fair" about it nor is there anything reasonable about the poster behind it.

Leave The Clinic stuff out? No. Sorry.

A manipulative, lying, cheating fraud has dutifully earned the "legacy" that he has left behind. Pretending otherwise is...well...it would be "pretending" now wouldn't it?

Trolling thread is trolling.

Wonder no longer, Ulle Relaxes ! Lance is definitely a saint ! Look at all the "too much good" he's done "for too many people" ! Like Gino Bartali he risked death, not from the fascists or nazis, but from a greater threat - testicular cancer !!! Forget legends like Merckx and Anquetil; they only won 5 Tours de France ! St Lance of Austin (or is it Aspen???) won 7 ! In a row !!! Count them: OneTwoThreeFourFiveSixSeven ! St Lance ! Canonise him now, I say ! I'll phone the pope - he can excommunicate that cheating Ulle at the same time !!!

Livestrong brutha !

BTW: Change your username ! Followers of St Lance don't want to be reminded that Ulle Relaxes, yikes ! Cheating doper Ulle, grrrr! I suggest using a name like "St Lance is the greatest man alive !"

PS: You forgot to include his wins in the Tour of Georgia (!), the Midi Libre (!!) and the Nevada City Classic (!!!) !
