Spontanious trip to Alpe d'Huez and missing accommodation?

A friend and I just decided to travel to France to see a.o. the Alpe d'Huez stage and bike a ourselves. In our search, which was rather hard (Yeah, I know we were waaaaaay too late!), I came in contact with a travel agent, who has a couple of vacant rooms in the area in that period. She was very helpful to me, so I thought I'd do her a favour and tell potential co-Alpe-visitors from the CN forum about the option - if you need accommodation.
