Always a good topic of conversation is who is the sprinter(s) on teams.

Last night (it was too hot for sleep :D) I tried to name all the sprinters I could from the WorldTour teams so I thought I'd listen them and get everyones help filling in those I missed, especially Euskatel and some of the French/Italian teams. Tried also to include those who are can be sprinters but even though may not have sprinted in awhile, are still used in leadouts (L). Will also add the ProConti teams to be filled later:

I dispute the classing of Roux or Costa as sprinters. Sagan at Liquigas (who has not been mentioned) is more of a sprinter than them.

At Euskaltel, Pablo Urtasun has an OK turn of speed when he needs one, at Movistar Giovanni Visconti is not a sprinter but will certainly involve himself in a few sprints in reduced fields.

Depends on what do you actually mean saying 'sprinter(s)', because it inevitably boils down to the guys who can sprint and your list proves it pretty much (Gasparotto or Van Avermaet or Rui Costa are not sprinters). Talking about Euskaltel pehaps Ruben Perez, but...

Looking at Sagan's season in 2011 he could be defined as a sprinter without a problem, almost all his victories are from bunch sprints (mostly reduced ones but some normal) except from two "descending" victories. Although it's not to be forgotten that his sprint victories in the Vuelta was versus very low competition with none of the top sprinters in the world present.

Well yeah defining a sprinter is a hard one and was primarily the reason why I spent so long and just looking at WT first. :D

I put Roux and Costa mianly on the back of Circuit de Lorrain results where they topped 2 in what I presume is a sprint against Marcato and Hinault. Happy to remove them though, didn't want to put all the classic riders with a turn of speed but the line is always blurry, Freire/EBH is obvious but I guess if Costa is there Sagan would have to be...

Missed Huta!

Of course

Ravard from AG2R was on fire last year.

FDJ have some you've forgotten. Bonnet, Hutarovich, Bouhanni. I guess you can also call Rollin, Delage and Geslin sprinters in some form or another. Pretty fast team actually, them French boys.

Of course

The Circuit de Lorraine is always full of those tricky finishes and slight uphills though, so while the field they beat was of sprinters, it's a bit like including Gerrans and Valverde because of their performances in Stirling in the TDU (though not quite as extreme an example of that).

And of course Roux's biggest sprint victory was this epic:

I've had to point out to people on more than one occasion in the past that actually, Greipel wasn't beaten in the sprint by Anthony Roux, but that was a great, great win.

funny how the 2nd and 3rd fastest guys in the peloton aren't even on Pro Tour teams this year, Kittel and Ferrari

Vicente Reynes? This guy hasn't won a single sprint in his whole career. :D

2nd in the Vuleta stage Sutton won last year and 3rd wheel in Greipel's sprint at the TDU?

Updated with some of the names supplied + UHC.

Boom and Marcato aren't sprinters. Both of them are sort of quick, although they rarely win a sprint even from a smaller group

For Rabo you could add Vermeltfoort (power sprinter, at least he used to be in U23) and Leezer (leadout guy). Vacansoleil have signed Barry Markus (another power sprinter).

Not a case of forgotten, more don't know. I like to think I have large knowledge of the peloton but apart from the anglophones and the best it gets tricky knowing everyone.

Didn't Boom sprint well at ToB? Seemed to remember Marcato doing well in Tour de Suisse as well from the bunch.

Boom can do well in a technical finish, when there's a corner 200 m before the line or something like that. But in a regular sprint against real sprinters he has no chance.

Marcato did a semi-attack there in Suisse, not really a sprint. Remember Paris-Tours? He was virtually standing still.

Vacansoleil also have Ligthart, forgot about him. Not really a great sprinter, but he's faster than Marcato.

Marcato? The guy who lost a two-man sprint duel against the gruelling Bert Scheirlinckx? :p

Marcato is a puncheur, aggressive riding style, good sense for opportunities, always there at the finishs, always in groups, piling up top ten results like other riders pile up simple race days. But in a classic flat-out sprint royale Marcato is nowhere. He's not a sprinter.
