What is the difference between these two crank sets?

The Quarq and the SRM are two different Power meters that's all

What are your thoughts on either one?

I must say I have no idea as I never used a power meter before.

I use a quarq cinco with Rotor 3D cranks and a Garmin Edge 500. It has worked great and is less cash than the SRM setup. You can't go wrong with either the quarq or SRM, but I like that I can easily transfer the Garmin to my cross and MTB bike. Just my thoughts.

Srm is the most famous and well proven while the Quarq is kinda new but never heard of any problem so far.

If you're gonna get them as new, the Quarq might be much cheaper than an Srm.
