Thanks!
It's a sad day for the forum. I think we're down to 4 authentic Irish forum members and a couple of wannabe Irish. We were going to adopt Netserk, but I guess that's off now.
I think it also was my admiration for Vino smashing the Team GB dream at the London OlympicsAlong with who you've mentioned @Carrick-On-Seine is I'm assuming from the name and I recall laughing at him for having to deal with the Platinum Jubilee celebrations as an Irish living in England (or maybe it was the funeral?), though it might've been someone else. I also think Breezy1985 it was as well with the Sam Bennett avatar a while back?
CyclistAbi is peaking to soon, he will not sustain this shape until the last week, even with this new things Abi has been taking.I am feeling good but one has to be careful and look for unorthodox doping methods. BB? You would get busted instantly, they have changed tests. I dont know what @CyclistAbi takes but its efficient and undetectable. Everyone and their grandma knows he crashes a lot so one can always hope...

You have the Giro in your legs and besides that, i have surprises for all of you in the third week, so you better get ready for what's coming. I wasn't in Mallorca and one month in Tignes for nothing!
Let's face it, CyclistAbi scared me as s*** with the "Grandma conversation", that was sadistic, but i know he will not stay in the bike until the finish of the Tour and he can't sustain this shape in the mountain stages of the last week. The mountain train will not work.Nah, now guys peak for the whole season. If @CyclistAbi stays on his bike he wins. I don't think he will though (let's just say that I have very loyal domestiques who know how to fight hard for positions in the peleton!).
Let's be honest, you have your issues. The steeper progression the more dramatic collapse. One day you'll be fighting for the victory and the next day you'll be trying to survive in grupetto.
A lot of my family are Irish so my dad supports them and obviously bangs on constantly, growing up I ended up watching Celtic a lot with them so still go on games occasionally, but as a testament to the confused history of these islands I was born and grew up in Lancashire.
Not always been the biggest England football fan but I like Gareth as a person so I'm supporting them this time, domestically speaking he seems to be annoying the right kind of people.
I'm not exactly having the best preparation for the race, having - somehow - managed to catch cold.

Whatever the asterisks stand for might be your prejudice: certainly not mine. You’re not pulling any punches. Might as well have called him ***.
They don't stand for anything, I typed them to make a light-hearted joke (seems well-received by Tim). I do not actually think it's an insult to be thought of as Irish.Whatever the asterisks stand for might be your prejudice: certainly not mine.
Being mistaken for a Swede in the male peleton though would mean you're a horribly bad cyclist as there's literally no Swedes in the male world tour whatsoever 🤣They don't stand for anything, I typed them to make a light-hearted joke (seems well-received by Tim). It's in the same vein as if someone mistook a Dane here for a Swede.
How is the forum holding up? People are accepting Vingo's miracle readily. Lance is gobsmacked by it. Rog is out which is a shame for the podium battle, bad for Rog and his fans. Remco is holding up well, so far. Pog seems to be in a spot of bother, but I think he'll have a good performance this weekend before he blows up in one of the last stages. The discussion gets unsavoury at times but the forum hasn't come close to blowing up yet. So far, it has been a very entertaining tour and there are more shocks in store. Let's hope all remaining forumites can complete the tour.

Mistaking a Dane for a Swede should be punishable by being forced to stand on a remote mountain-side for hours, with no internet connection, so you can't watch the race.
Is that meant to be a punishment, or is it how you believe being a Swede is like (I know you have some knowledge from your childhood)?
But being stuck on the mountain side might also be what Swedes like more than Danes. Maybe why Swedes are such bad cyclistsOf course being unable to watch a race because you're stuck on a mountain-side is punishment!
