Well I'm 160cm and 54.5kg if that is the correct conversion for 5'3" and 120 lbs. Plus I'm 63 years old. Yes cycling keeps one in shape even as they age :)

Now what all this has to do with Strade Bianchi is beyond me, but I thought I'd join the stats party.

Wow, that's pretty impressive to be honest.

Some of you guys and girls are scary thin

That's intresting, than I'm 17 cm's taller than you and the same weight

Either you're a bodybuilder, or I need to become a pro cyclist! :p

I couldn't be any further away from the bodybuiler type of body. Short as i am, i would look hideous with that type of body. I do mostly compound movements (squats, deadlifts etc) inside hypertrophy and strength training parameters (10-8-6-4 reps). So i have a lot. . . well . . . some( hey at least i am being honest) amount of lean muscle mass, which is very dense, heavy and most importantly functional.

I think i am around 12-13% of body fat.

Still, i have a friend who runs half marathons and marathons for fun (he is an engineer) and he is the same weight and height as me, which still makes him fat compared to most of you, and he is a pretty good runner. IIRC his half marathon time is a bit under 1:30.

Zoidl broke his collarbone.... that sucks. He was showing some great racing so far. I hope he can come back in time for the Giro?

Runners are the worst people in the world. a buddy of mine "only trains for fun", but run half marathons in like 1:20 without breaing a sweat. I can barely finish

We've all been hyping Sagan as the one rider who could win all five monuments. Well, maybe Kwiatkowski is the one instead.

Not just all the monuments, all the GTs as well...

I don't think he'll be able to win Paris-Roubaix though.

Let's be honest, is there really any race that Kwiatkowski can't win? He can climb, sprint, time trial, has got the kick for attacks, handles rough conditions like gravels and cobbles well, handles the steep stuff well, can go the distance. The only thing missing it would seem is top results in the high mountain stages. And I'm sure that will come with time and experience.

I can't run  I messed up my right knee a long time ago and have been avoiding going to the doctor because most likely i need surgery

Ya i know it doesn't sound very smart :p

Just call me "The Big Fatty"

Sounds like it was a great race. I'm looking forward to watching the highlights, supposedly on beINHD on DirecTV this evening. Kwiatkowski is proving to be a beast!

Since we're disclosing our vital "figures": 180 cm/84 kg, (this is my winter weight :p ). During my prime racing days (20 years ago) I was a svelte (for me) 64 kg.

Just watched the highlights. It appeared on Sagan's final attack on that final steep grade that he just blew up while Kwiatkowski simply followed him and continued at the same tempo.

Both Cancellara and Valverde punctured and had to chase back, same as Kwiatkowski, with of course the difference being Kwiatkowski had more left in the tank.

Damn... We make Froome look healthy..

I am serious here, you guys are sick!!! It doesn't matter if you are great climbers on your group rides, it is never good when the average joe is capable of snapping you in half with his bare hands. :p

How good was the Ricco-Aspin move by Sagan...

I think it looked better than it actually was as if valverde wasn't an idiot he would have bridged across right after Cancellara looked back with only a 5 meter gap to make up and he would have probably brought Kreuziger with him.

Still any uphill attack on the drops deserves massive respect simply for the cool factor.

He's still too young to say those things. He could become another EBH.
Well not really, his climbing skills are already something to talk about, but what I mean is his development could very well find a full stop being so young.

Hard to resist jumping on the hype train tho :D

Males with that low weight compared to height usually can't really help it.
I am 201cm and currently My weight is 85kg which I find too low. I want atleast 90kg and my weight was 94kg 2 years ago, but then I changed jobs. I got a job with a lot irregular working times and I also got a son for a little bit of added stress and crappy nights. I lose weight much more easy than I gain weight.

When I was 20 I was 201cm and my weight was 75kg so Im allready glad Im not that thin anymore. Im still waaay too thin imo.

No it's not, he could end up flopping like we have seen with other young talents, but that doesn't mean he can't do the things I said. As of now, he's shown himself on one occasion or another to be able to do each one.

But i don't cycle a lot (school) anyways.
