Would riders like Scarponi and Sanchez be riding at the level of Big G and Little Richie Porte at sky or even more considering their pedigree and the new special sauce they have found?

They're both on the downslide of their careers, Sanchez in particular so no. Remember Rogers was the Geraint Thomas of Team Sky in 2012 when Wiggins won and got a nice pay increase to help Contador

Didn't hear Rogers was kicked out of Sky, just that he was offered more money to rider with contador.

This sounds like it's going to end up as another Sky thread. I'm going to keep it open for the time being but if it descends into Sky and their domestiques, it's getting moved.
