Niels Albert won the Superprestige round in Diegem on Sunday evening. The Belgian defeated Czech Zdenk Stybar by eight seconds and yesterday's World Cup winner Kevin Pauwels, also of Belgium, by 1:36. One of the favorites, Sven Nys, suffered a derailleur problem.

With his win, Albert leads the overall Superprestige standings after six races.

Good race, with much fighting from Albert & Stybar, with a small gap between these two for the whole race.
