Of course it is a risk but if he wants to be the best, he needs to chase things others can't even dream about. However, I'm more worried about Vuelta. When is he gonna win it?

Maybe next year. I doubt that he will go to vuelta this season, WC is probably more important to him

I already said this many times. If not this year, when will he try? Next year, WC will be tailormade for him too. Some year, he will have to risk his win in WC to win the Vuelta.

I'm sure he will give Pogacar a hard time. But Vingegaard is not old, he will be in the Tour to fight Pogacar for the next 5 years at least (without any severe crash).

I think next year he should skip SB and UAE Tour. It would already shorten his season by a couple of weeks.

minimally I think he can ride MSR; RVV, and LBL + giro, tour.

I prefer P-R over the Giro if I’m picking one

PCS is a joke in giving points. They give so many points to TTs and podium places.

Just like any vuelta contender: any year over the nex ten years he's unable to compete in the tour (illness, crashes etc.) I think he'll fall into 2 vueltas even if he never relly plans for it. And imo, as with giro, once hes done it once it should really not be a priority for him. Number of Tours, monuments and WCs will define his career, the other stuff is just ticking off boxes)

For the achievement of the five monuments. Paris-Roubaix is incompatible with the Giro.
Van Aert does it, but he's not going for the Giro GC.

Because he loves to race monuments and still didn't win PR.

Agree with everything particularly views on incidental vuelta. Except for the giro. Pogi needs more giros

At some point, the WC will not be as compelling to him as the Vuelta. That is currently not the case but things change over time.

Just like other people I overreacted after Amstel that Tadej is cooked. I didn't take into account Paris - Roubaix. That race not only hurts your legs but also your whole body and he lost 3 training days because of it.
After this article I think that Vuelta 2025 is more likely. I will give it 50/50. He will probably do a Giro-Tour double again next year.
Soler said that the plan is to win the Vuelta with Pogacar and I don't think he was wasting words when he said that. The plan was made in December to ride Roubaix but they kept it quiet. The plan was to ride Amstel after Roubaix and they stuck to it.
I also think that post Vuelta Pogacar can still win World's.
