Stage 4 should have finished in Angaston, would have been quite hard for some of the sprinters to make it.

Good point....

SKY and Rabo look strong EBH must be an early fav - No snow in the dark North at the moment plus 2 camps he should start the year with a bang.

Also get more of a look at Wilco which is cool

Stage 5 will be epic! woooo! :D

It's the first race of they year so I'm allready looking forward to it. The course is the best ever so far, allthough that wasn't very hard.
It's still nothing special, but since it's the first race of the year we shouldn't expect more I guess.

Bit surprised that there is no Cav on Sky's provisional list. Would have thought that he would want to get as many miles in the legs as possible if he is targeting MSR, and Sky would want an early outing of their new world champion.
EBH for the overall looks like a decent shout - if Wilunga is raced hard, can't see Goss making it.

He didn't race the TDU when he won Milan-San Remo... Qatar-Oman-Tirreno should be enough.

You would think Cav would start a bit later as July will be huge - Also give EBH leadership and earlier start riding for himself before the Classics - Good move imo

If 'Puppy cheeks' comes with some form he could do well for gc honours at the TDU.

For BMC; Roe, Burghardt, Quinziato & Frank are confirmed as starters.

Who is that?

Edvald Boasson Hagen. A friend on twitter came up with that name and I found it quite amusing because he really does have puppy cheeks. I think it is quite funny.

Sean Yates says EBH will not go for the GC. He won't even be going for the sprints and will primarily lead out Sutton. Makes me wonder why on earth he even wants to go here when it's evidently not even good training. But knowing Edvald, he usually starts the season in surprisingly good shape (see Oman this year), so who knows. One thing's for sure...Rogers won't win the GC.

What the hell... this race is almost tailor made for EBH, could do with a short time trial but otherwise it's perfect. And indeed, it's not really suited to Rogers.

I don't agree about this race being bad training... do you remember who won MSR last year? Not to mention Luis Leon, who kicked off his stellar 2010 in Australia. Plus his stellar 2009.

What has Goss done after Milan-San Remo?
