p.s. To all the superfans out there, I recommend spending your morning hotel dumpster diving. There’s guaranteed to be lot, and I mean, a LOT of filthy, gritty, sandy cycling kit in the trash. Socks, caps, jerseys, bib, you name it!

I wish I was there to dumpster dive.. but why on earth would they throw away clothing that got muddy and sandy?? I mean, even if the lads ****ed their shorts, the washing machine takes care of all that... are they so full of clothing they don't even bother washing their kits?? or is it possible the sand and dirt managed to somehow blemish the logos of the sponsors?? meh.. i don't get it.. only throw it away if i'm nearby to dumpster dive it..

To anyone who got through yesterdays (st 7) race one can only sit back and say chapeau.

I am sure very few of the riders enjoyed the stage - yet I'll bet they will start plaguing the photographers for pic's of the stage to order fotos of themselves.
