Sal, I read your LANCE-FRIENDLY articles for years. I sent you all kinds of stuff that showed the real side of Lance. And slowly but surely, you started to come around. Finally, it was clear that you had. I think you truly deserved to be the guy to write that article, and not the younger, cheaper guy they eventually went with at USAToday.
Just wanted to say it in front of everyone. You wrote what needed to be said, and you were brave enough to do a 180. I just hope that it wasn;t this 180 that did you in at USAToday, as that would be a real shame.
