Yesterday, I was a rider for a Pro-Tour Team
Now it looks as they caught my dream
Oh, I believe in yesterday

Suddenly, I'm not half to man I used to be,
There's an A-Probe hanging over me
Oh, yesterday came suddenly

Why it had to go I don't know - Pat wouldn't say
I drank something wrong, now I'm banned for yesterday

Yesterday, EPO was such an easy game to play
Now I need some place to hide away
Oh, I believe in yesterday

Found this in the archives - might be entertaining for all you budding poets out there could write a doping poem.

William Shakespeare did before us though!

To dope or not to dope that is the question?

"Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer
The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune,
Or to take arms against a sea of troubles,
And by opposing end them? To die: to sleep;
No more; and by a sleep to say we end
The heart-ache and the thousand natural shocks
That flesh is heir to, 'tis a consummation
Devoutly to be wish'd. To die, to sleep;
To sleep: perchance to dream: ay, there's the rub;
For in that sleep of death what dreams may come
When we have shuffled off this mortal coil,
Must give us pause: there's the respect
That makes calamity of so long life;"

Paul Greene former Australian 45.16 sec. 400 metre runner
who ran at two Commonwealth Games, the 1996 Olympics
and I think two World Championships, with a best result
of fourth in the 1994 Commonwealth Games came up with
this:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UqeRjWbA7Fk
EDIT: To clarify, Paul is a former 45.16 sec. 400 metre runner,
not a former Australian, I should have wrote "Australian Paul
Greene, a former 45.16sec. 400m. runner..."

Kids poems on drugs.....very cute!

D.A.R.E. and Drugs
By Rachel

D-A-R-E spells DARE,
we want to get you involved because we all care.
D.A.R.E. is great! D.A.R.E. is cool!
One way to help is by attending school.
D.A.R.E. will really make you want to shout,
it will teach you what Drug Free is all about.
To be drug free is what D.A.R.E. is all about.
So come on kids, let's all shout it out.
Stay away from Alcohol and Drugs and let's keep ourselves clean,
our minds and our bodies that is what I mean!

Here are some A+ better things to do than drugs:By Harley

Smell a flower, take a shower, read a book, learn to cook, get a good grade, sell lemonade, clean the dishes, swim with the fishes, play a sport, or build a sand fort, go to the beach, eat a peach, bake apple pies, comfort a baby when it cries, pet a dog, play leap frog, watch a movie, drink a fruit smoothie, eat snacks, play a game of jacks, go shopping and watch popcorn when it's popping.

When someone asks you to do drugs just simply say,
I've got much too much to do today!

The Nudniks

Take a look at the disillusionment thread,
And let it here be clearly said...
Nudniks, nudnicks everywhere,
Upon the clinic I do despair;
Keyboard verse with circular aversion,
With the usual suspects causing commotion;
And you do all this behind avatars to hide;
To mimic so sweetly the bikes that you ride!
