The end of Caisse?

On the cyclingnews home page, Neil Stephens suggests that as no sponsor has come forward CdE could in fact fold at the end of the year. Yet I had heard a new sponsor had been lined up with a slightly reduced salary. Can anyone shed any light on the situation?

Either way, looks unlikely that AC will move there if even the current staff don't think there will be a team next year.

He says that there's no "ongoing" sponsor for Caisse. That doesn't rule out the possibility of a dissolution and a new team forming from the ashes (just as De Rosa-Stac Plastic are supposedly a new team independent of LPR, and Colnago-CSF Inox are separate from CSF Group-Navigare), however. Stories are contrasting.
