1. Contador
2. TVG
3. Pinot
------
4. Porte
------

I've now had time to study the route.

My feeling there's a technical element to the course. More so than other years. I also feel weather will play a big part.

I don't think this will be a predictable Tour.

My feeling is strategy will play a big part hence my selections.

I'm most impressed with Pinot. I think he can win the Tour one day.

His cycling brain is very good.

TVG is a matter of time. He's a better climber than he thinks he is.

Thoughts?

Cant help but notice you omitted the big favourite.

Don't encourage him.

Hopefully a mod will come along and point out that starting personal threads on topics which are already well covered is unnecessary, and rather silly, even for him.

Nah, Froome almost managed to crash on a 15% ascent in the Tirreno, all it takes is riding behind either Robert Gesink or a carrot in a rainy, technical descent.

I'd love to see Echoes in this thread
Edit: Gaudin is riding the tour, so he will win obviously

Pretty much this. I'm going to close it. If any of the other mods disagree it will be re-opened.
