I just found this bachelor thesis in which the Italian media coverage of doping in cycling is compared with the German.
A decent number of articles (in German and Italian) on doping in cycling collected and commented on. If anything, it looks like a nice database (provided you read German/Italian) to do some additional digging, though i'm not sure how novel the infos are.
It's a google books preview, so there'll be pages missing. But as you may know there is a nice search function on your lefthandside, where you just type in any name (or combination of names) you like.
