Torri: Italian case number 9...

There are a couple of threads at the moment digging into the Torri interview. How 'bout one more?

The article says this:

Torri is currently working with eight Italian police districts that are investigating doping cases and according to Gazzetta dello Sport, has recently been contacted by police about a ninth and much bigger investigation.

Anybody who knows anything about that number nine?
Curiosity is killing me right now and I'm not even a cat!

And now we know why any italian with 2 active brain cells lives in Monaco. Coni seems to take this stuff seriously.

what could be bigger than Ricco? maybe Aldo Sassi? or Ferarri? or Basso? or Nibali? or the whole of Liquigas?

Or maybe size is to be taken literally - number of people involved.

Have we even heard of all of the other 8 yet?

The Italians (police/CONI) are doing a good job. Never seem to hear the FCI mentioned in conjunction with the investigations, always CONI.

I'm pretty sure we have heard about at least one of them - The Rossi one. And the recent find at Ricco's place is not the same either I think, so that would make two..

And there was the Lampre thing that got Ballan & Santambrogio suspended temporarily by BMC.

And Petacchi/Bernucci.

Don't know if they're the same case or not.

I don't think that that case is this particular one, as the wording seems to indicate that it is a new investigation.

Sorry don't mind me, I misundersootd your post
