As the start of June signalls newsagents having these on every stand - could I ask what ones people buy / have bought which are the best or offer best value for money.

I already bought the first one out today - Cycling Weekly/Cycling Sport Ultimate Tour Guide for £7.50 & tbh it's pretty dreadful & I've pretty much covered it in 3 or 4 hours. It's obviously written even pre Giro selection, with references to plenty of riders who won't even race in it, never mind be a contender.

But even what is in it, barely tells you anything. the stage guides have profiles of only about 1/3 of the stages. They mention the very first stage won't be won by a sprinter but give no profile or detail why. Nothing on which riders may contend each stage or contenders for any of the jerseys.

I do always buy the Official TDF guide, it's the most expensive £10 I think & out tomorrow and has all of that and another free Wiggle bottle this year - and I'd imagine the usual DVD.

Nothing special this "microscope". But entertaining.

Lol. They dont mention Froome at all. If Froome goes to Tour with Vuelta form he will be Bradely's most important doemstique - by far ! And rating BMC's team higher than Sky is strange imo. Nice find and nice to read ;)

Exactly, he's a domestique.
As it happened in the Tour Of California, they failed to mention an important player.

Obviously Nibali a better tter than Sanchez is a bit wrong.

They also give Sanchez a better team which i disagree with, i think Nibali has a better one.

Also think Gesink should be there ahead of Frank. Frank has no chance.

Wiggins is not as good a climber as Menchov either.

But thanks for posting.
