Erm...backstory?

Backstory.. Grizzly tour is the legendary off season race. Its the fourth grand tour, no further explanation is needed, its reputation precedes it.

Of course its not nearly so meaningful this year with no team sky present :D

Stage 21 is evil

A prologue, 3 ITT's, a TTT and Paris-Roubaix your brutal!
I've checked out parts of the route wiil do more later.
To the confused this is a fantasy tour that is fun for the off season.
I've Googled some of the route and so far I have found stages from 1948, 1950, 1990, 2003 TDF.
I have no info on the aussie stages.
But it's a no brainer I pick Cancellera for the prologue.

thanks rabunal

I'm curious as to what this is

See Krebs post above...fun for the board is all.

Rabunal will keep us posted daily with the results...it's a pretty good way to kill off a month of off-season.

Some would even say last year's race was somewhat contentious :D

Yea...no. Last year, this was the only race The Uniballer won, and it was a complete farce. Terrible race, and executed extremely poorly. Anyone could see that Armstrong didn't have it last year...well, everyone except for rabunal. I guess it is fitting that a fake tour is the only thing he won last year...

Tour de Grizzly is the cleanest of the GT's . Nobody has tested positive.
I will admit Armstrong's win last was rather surprising. But it took it's toll and he suffered at the TDF.
Looking forward to the Paris-Roubaix stage.
